According to Indian media, a college professor in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh has been sent on forced leave for offering "Namaz" in the college lawn.

The Sri Varshney College administration took the action after a video showing Professor S R Khalid performing 'namaz' went viral and Hindu right-wing youth leaders from Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha demanded action against him.
