Pakistan and India, through diplomatic channels on Sunday exchanged lists of civilian prisoners and fishermen of each other country lodged in the jails.
In a statement, Foreign office said Pakistan handed over a list of 471 Indian prisoners, including 53 civil and 418 fishermen to High Commission of India in Islamabad on Sunday.
India handed over a list of 249 civilian prisoners and 108 fishermen to Pakistan.
The statement the exchange was in line with provisions of Consular Access Agreement between Pakistan and India, signed on May 21, 2008, under which both countries are required to exchange lists of prisoners in each other's custody twice a year on January 1 and July 1.
Earlier, Pakistan released two Indian fishermen as a goodwill gesture on Friday.
