Prime Minister Imran Khan called President-elect of Maldives Ibrahim Mohammed Solih to felicitate him on his victory in the recent Presidential elections.

The Prime Minster hoped that under the leadership of Ibrahim Mohammad Solih, Maldives and its people will achieve great success and prosperity.

Both the leaders reiterated their resolve to further strengthen bilateral relations, which are characterized by cordiality, religious affinity and close cooperation.

They also expressed desire to work closely on issues of mutual interest and for the benefit of peoples of both countries.

He also invited the Prime Minister to visit Maldives at a mutually convenient date.
