Two new cases of Polio virus has been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Emergency Operation Center, polio virus was confirmed in two children of DI Khan and Laki Marwat.

With these new cases, the number of polio cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reached nine during the current year.

Meanwhile, the number of reported polio virus cases across the country have reached forty-five. This includes twenty-two cases from Balochistan, twelve from Sindh and one each from Punjab and Islamabad
