Chairman of Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said that government is taking concrete measures to empower youth.

He was addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Monday in connection with International Volunteer Day.

He said that youth are the future of Pakistan. He said that Rescue 1122 is extending outstanding services to the people in need. He said that National Volunteer Corps is aimed at working to help people in the hour of crisis. He said that Green Youth Movement has been launched at educational institutions.

Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said that Punjab model of Rescue 1122 services has been replicated in other parts of country.
