Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has said that a fault has been reported in the submarine cable AAE-1 near Qatar that could impact internet and broadband user experience across Pakistan.

According to a press release issued by PTA, the cable is one of the seven international undersea cables connecting Pakistan for international internet traffic.

It further said that concerned teams are working to fix the fault after which, internet speed will be restored to full capacity.
