Preparations for Kashmir Solidarity Day, observed annually on 5th February, are in full swing across Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and abroad to express unwavering support for the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, call for observance of the day has been given by the government of Pakistan.

Political parties, activists, the general public across Pakistan and AJK, and Pakistani embassies abroad will organize events to reaffirm their commitment to Kashmiris' right to self-determination, a right denied by India for over 78 years.

The day will be marked with special prayers for the martyrs of Kashmir, mass rallies, peace walks and symposiums highlighting the plight of Kashmiris under Indian rule.
