In Finland, liberal-conservative National Coalition Party- Kokoomus has won the parliamentary elections by a narrow margin.

According to the state radio, the winning party, led by senior politician Antti Petteri Orpo, secured 48 seats while the right-wing populist The Finns Party gained 46 seats.

Prime Minister Sanna Marin's Social Democratic Party finished in third place and secured 43 seats.
