Rice Variety Evaluation Committee has recommended high-yielding rice hybrids and varieties including Green Super Rice varieties for cultivation in Pakistan.

The recommendation was made by the committee during a meeting with Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) in Islamabad.

The introduction of these varieties and hybrids is expected to enhance farmers' productivity and profitability.

On the occasion, Chairman PARC Ghulam Muhammad Ali appreciated the role of private and public sector for taking interest in research and development of rice in the country.
