Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has assured full support to facilitate the APM Terminals group and provide it with a level-playing and investment-friendly climate in Pakistan.
He was talking to a delegation of APM Terminals, which called on him in Islamabad on Monday.
Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminals, Keith Svendsen led the delegation.
Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb welcomed APM Terminals commitment to invest in Pakistan.
The discussion focused on the progress made as a follow-up on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding last month between Pakistan and Denmark to enhance bilateral cooperation and accelerate sustainable economic growth through promoting and enhancing green and sustainable Public-Private Partnership investment.
In his remarks, Keith Svendsen briefed the Minister on APM Terminals' business portfolio and its plans for building port infrastructure in Pakistan for enhanced revenue growth and improvement in regional trade and connectivity.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan Jakob Linulf, Pakistan's Ambassador to Denmark Shoaib Sarwar, and others.
