In Afghanistan, Loya Jirga has demanded foreign governments to formally recognise the interim Afghan government and unfreeze the assets of Afghan Central Bank.
The demand was made in a statement issued at the conclusion of three-day Loya Jirga held in Kabul.
More than four thousand religious, ethnic leaders and tribal elders from across the country attended the Jirga.
The statement further asked the regional and international countries, especially the Islamic countries to lift all the sanctions and support the development in Afghanistan.
The Loya Jirga said that the interim Afghan government would not interfere in the matters of neighbouring countries and hope that they should also not interfere in Afghanistan's internal affairs.
