Modi govt expedites its colonial plan of allotting lands to non-Kashmiri industrialists in IIOJK
July 03, 2024

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP led regime is fully implementing its colonial plan of allotting more lands to its occupation forces and Indian industrialists.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian government has allotted 53 kanals of land to establish a new battalion headquarters of the Central Reserve Police Force in Baramulla district to further strengthen its military rule in the occupied territory.

Since the revocation of special status of IIOJK, Indian government has allotted thousands of kanals of land in the territory to the Indian Army and businessmen as part of the Modi government's strategy to change the demography of Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned these actions and called them a violation of international law and human rights.

In a statement in Srinagar today, APHC spokesman said that these actions are aimed at suppressing the legitimate demand of Kashmiri people for self-determination and erase their cultural and religious identity.

The APHC urged the international community to take decisive action against India's colonial tactics in the territory and emphasized resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.
