Kashmir Children’s Day was observed across the state today to draw the attention of the international community to the plight of children who are victims of Indian state terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In Muzaffarabad, a rally was taken out at Shaheed Burhan Muzaffarwani Chowk. The participants, holding banners and play cards, chanted pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
Similarly a function was held at Postgraduate College Muzaffarabad where solidarity was expressed with innocent Kashmiri children.
The speakers said millions of children are victims of the atrocities, fear and brutality of the Indian troops in IIOJK.
On the other hand, Kashmir Policy Research Institute in collaboration with the Forest Department launched a tree plantation campaign in connection with Kashmir Children’s Day.
A sapling was planted at Jalalabad Park Muzaffarabad.
On this occasion special prayers were offered for high ranks of the Kashmiri martyrs.
