Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhary Salik Hussain has announced a relief for Hajj pilgrims by reducing cost of the long and short Hajj packages.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said twenty-five thousand rupees have been reduced for the long Hajj Package, while fifty thousand rupees will be slashed for the short Hajj package.

The forty-day long Hajj package has been restricted to one million and fifty thousand rupees whereas one point one million rupees is for twenty-five day short Hajj package.

The third instalment for long Hajj package is four hundred and fifty thousand rupees and five hundred thousand rupees in case of short Hajj package.

It is mandatory for Hujjaj to pay the third instalment from Thursday to fourteenth of this month in designated banks and Hujjaj will be informed through mobile app "Pak Hajj" in this regard.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain further said that over four point seven five billion rupees are being refunded to Hajj pilgrims of last year under the seven categories.
