Radio Pakistan's special Ramadan transmission "Paigham-e-Ramadan" continues on 13th consecutive day on Tuesday, to spread the message of love, peace and harmony in the society.        

Religious scholar Habib Ur Rehman said that Ramadan creates a social and humanitarian context that fosters compassion for the needy around the world.      

He added that Ramadan is an opportunity to surpass oneself and a true spiritual source that nourishes the soul, enhances faith and piety. 

Taking Part in the Live Ramadan Transmission, President National Academy of young scientists Dr Aftab Ahmed said Ramadan is a month of spiritual and social uplifting; one finds important connections to science, most particularly astronomy and medicine.

Naat Khawan Zainab Batool and Alizey Batool paid tribute to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him] while Tilawat-e-Quran-e-Pak along with translation is a regular part of transmission.
