The grand cultural, Sporting and recreational festival of "Derajat" will formally commence on Saturday at the Ratta Kulachi Stadium in Dera Ismail Khan. 

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has finalized all the necessary arrangements to celebrate the festival in a befitting manner.

This vibrant Derajat festival, which is designed to showcase the rich cultural, historical, tourist, sports, and entertainment activities of the region, will continue till 20th of this month.

The opening ceremony will feature an exhibition of valuable livestock from Dera Ismail Khan and surrounding areas.

The aim of the festival is to provide both recreational opportunities and boost the local economy, while promoting tourism and delivering a clear message of peace and harmony from the people of Dera Ismail Khan.
