Pakistan and the United States have reiterated their commitment to strengthening partnership in the energy sector.
This commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting between Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik and US Chargé d'Affaires Natalie Baker in Islamabad today.
Welcoming continued US cooperation, Ali Pervaiz Malik expressed his dedication to further developing Pakistan-US relations as development partners.
The US Chargé d'Affaires informed that a high-level American delegation will participate in the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum. US Acting Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Eric Meyer will also attend the forum.
Natalie Baker said the US President Donald Trump had acknowledged Pakistan's security efforts under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's leadership.
