Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says public service and economic relief are top priorities of the government.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Friday, she said government aims to provide essential food items and other necessities to the public at minimum price.
She said by the grace of Allah Almighty, the inflation rate during Ramadan was significantly lower as compared to previous years.
During the meeting Chief Minister was briefed on Model Bazaars and was informed that citizens received 31 percent relief and saved 1.11 billion rupees through purchases in Sasta Bazaars during Ramadan.
The meeting was further informed that a record Rs 28 million worth of purchases were made through the Sahulat Free Home Delivery app by placing orders in 36 model bazaars established in 25 districts.
