Saudi Arabia has expressed commitment to play its role in advocating the causes of Islamic world on global platforms.

The resolve was expressed by Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed El-Khereiji at the Foreign Minister's preparatory meeting in Gambia.

In his address, he reinforced the Kingdom's stance on Palestine's right to statehood as recognized by international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The Minister also stressed the importance of maintaining unity and solidarity among the nations within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
