Indian forces have martyred nine hundred and fifteen children in their unabated acts of state terrorism over the last thirty-five years in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
This was revealed in a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on the occasion of the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression being observed today.
According to the report, these children were among ninety six thousand and three hundred Kashmiris martyred by Indian troops from January 1, 1989, till date.
The report narrated that the killing of civilians by Indian forces rendered around one hundred eight thousand children orphaned in the territory during the period.
The report further stated that thousands of people, including school boys and girls, were also injured by pellets, bullets, and teargas shells fired by Indian troops, police, and paramilitary forces.
Meanwhile, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement urged the United Nations, human rights and child protection organizations to come forward and save the Kashmiri children from Indian violence.
