The Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan has disqualified Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khurshid in the fake degree case.
On the petition of the member Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Ghulam Shahzad Agha, the three-member bench of the Chief Court gave its verdict today after the arguments of the lawyers of the parties were completed.
Ghulam Shahzad Agha has accused Chief Minister of obtaining a lawyer's license by submitting a fake degree to the Bar Council.
A three-member bench including Justice Malik Inayatur Rehman, justice, Mushtaq Ahmed and Jauhor Ali Khan disqualified the Chief Minister for the next two and a half years.
