Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain has presided over an important meeting focused on promoting religious harmony and ensuring peace during Muharram-ul-Haram in Islamabad.

Addressing the meeting attended by Ulema and religious leaders, he emphasized their significant role in maintaining peace during Muharram-ul-Haram.

Minister highlighted that a joint strategy has been worked out in consultation with religious scholars to foster unity, brotherhood, and tolerance in the society.

He said all schools of thought will strive to foster an environmet of love, tolerance, and mutual understanding.
