In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir; Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in Baramulla district on Friday.

The operation launched at Yadipora in Pattan area of the district.

Meanwhile, in an ensuing gun battle, an Indian army major has been injured in initial exchange of gunfight. He has been shifted to 92 Base hospitals for treatment.
