In Afghanistan, heavy fighting is continuing between Taliban and resistance forces in Panjshir.

Taliban say they have seized the area, but the resistance fighters have denied these claims.

A resistance leader and former Vice-President of Afghanistan, Amrullah Saleh, dismissing the Taliban claim said the situation is "difficult".

In a video message, he said there have been casualties on both sides.
