In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyet Conference has urged the United Nations to intervene and implement its resolutions on Kashmir dispute.

In a statement, APHC spokesman, Advocate Abdur Rahid Minhas said that Hurriyat leadership is real representative body of oppressed people of occupied territory and struggling for Kashmiri people's right to self-determination as per UN resolutions.

The statement pointed out that any kind of election under Indian occupation forces has no meaning and value, while the Indian government and is changing the demography of territory, in violation of UN resolutions.

He said Kashmiris are demanding a plebiscite, under UN supervision to decide their political future, as promised by the world community.

Meanwhile, APHC AJK leaders, including Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, Altaf Ahmed Butt and others have said that Indian Foreign Minister is trying to deceive world and international community on Kashmir dispute.

Moreover, Senior APHC leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has rejected legitimacy of elections held in occupied Jammu and Kashmir reiterating that disputed territory’s final status can only be determined through a UN-supervised plebiscite.
