Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan has said that concerted efforts are needed to conserve forests and increase tree covered areas in country.

Talking to Sindh Governor, Muhammad Zubair in Karachi today (Friday), he said the ministry of Climate Change is taking concrete measures to counter atmospheric pollution in Sindh.

The Minister said PML-N government is fully cognizant that Pakistan is among the countries worst hit due to global level changes in the climatic conditions.

Sindh Governor said high growth of population has severely affected plantation in the province.
