World Health Organization has reaffirmed its support to Pakistan for strengthening primary health care in the country.

The assurance was given by Country Representative of the Organization in Pakistan, Dr Palitha Mahipala while addressing a press conference in Islamabad today (Friday).

Dr Palitha Mahipala said the WHO is providing support to government of Pakistan for expansion of universal health coverage by investing in health systems.

He also assured complete and unflinching support to the government in implementing its agenda to achieve the target of Universal Health Care by 2030.
