The Ministry of National Food Security and Research and the HEJ International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi have signed an agreement to ensure seed quality and enhance agricultural yield.

The agreement was signed in Karachi. Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain witnessed the signing ceremony.

Under this agreement, HEJ will provide commercial testing facilities for pesticide ingredients and related analysis.

Speaking on the occasion, Rana Tanveer Hussain emphasized the need to undertake research on quality and standards of seeds to help curb the production of poor-quality seeds.
