The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has urged Israel to end its occupation and settlement activities across the Palestinian territories.

Speaking before the Geneva-based United Nations Human Rights Council, the UN rights chief denounced the remarks of Israeli minister to 'wipe out' Palestinian village terming it an unfathomable statement of incitement to violence and hostility.
