Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has underlined need to support low-income families in constructing safe and sustainable homes.

She was chairing a meeting in Lahore on Wednesday to review the matters related to three Marla Free Plot Scheme.

The Punjab Chief Minister directed the improvement and rehabilitation of twenty-three housing schemes, under Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency, across the nineteen districts of the province.

The meeting also discussed provision of loans to beneficiaries who receive free plots so they can build their homes.
