Sindh Government has directed the Bureau of Supply Prices Department to control prices of items of daily use in the province during Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

In a notification issued in this regard, the Director General of bureau and other officials have been given the powers of a magistrate to ensure stabilization in the prices.

The additional and deputy Directors of agriculture department in the province have also been given the magisterial powers against hoarders and profiteers.

The officials have been authorized to arrest and jail any individual found involved in profiteering.
