The newly-appointed Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema formally assumed his official responsibilities today.

On this occasion, Omar Sarfraz Cheema said he joined the struggle for an independent Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan for the last 26 years.

The Governor vowed to continue his role to strengthen the vision of Imran Khan.
