In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, occupation troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth in Baramulla district today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were martyred by the troops in a fake encounter staged during a cordon and search operation in Sabura Nala Uri area.

Meanwhile, continuing to usurp religious freedom of the people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Modi-led Indian government sealed Jamia Masjid in Srinagar yet again to prevent devotees from offering Juma-tul-Wida congregational prayers today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, occupation authorities locked gates of grand mosque early today morning.

Indian paramilitary troops and police personnel were deployed in strength in Nowhatta and other areas of downtown Srinagar to stop people from reaching the mosque.

Juma-tul-Wida prayers have not been allowed at the mosque for the past five years.

Besides, congregational Friday prayers have mostly remained banned at the mosque since August 2019.

The authorities also put senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest in Srinagar.

Mirwaiz through a message on social media strongly condemned the latest restrictions on the significant religious occasion, terming it an arbitrary and authoritarian action and direct violation of the people’s religious rights.

He also expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine besides demanding early release of the Kashmiri political prisoners.
