The United Nations has said rival military factions in Sudan are unwilling to end fighting in the country.

The UN's top aid official Martin Griffiths told the media that UN world body has sought security guarantees from the warring sides to allow humanitarian aid into the country.

Meanwhile, UNHCR says  445 million dollars are needed to sustain the displaced population.
