The United States says it has no plans to close its embassy in Kabul and will continue its diplomatic, humanitarian and security assistance programs in Afghanistan.                  

The US Embassy responded this in a tweet to reports claiming that Washington is preparing emergency evacuation plans for the diplomatic staff in Kabul.
