Pakistan's stance on issues faced by Muslim Ummah has always been appreciated at all international fora. Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram strongly condemned Israeli barbaric attacks on Gaza and West Bank. He strongly presented Pakistan’s stance over Palestine issue and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people amid unabated Israeli brutalities in the Gaza Strip. The countries situated in neighborhood of Palestine and the Arab World should play their effective role to build pressure on major powers, backing Israel, to take urgent measures to bring an end to hostilities, lift siege of Gaza, protect civilians, and facilitate humanitarian corridors for provision of uninterrupted relief supplies to the beleaguered people of Gaza.

Protest in the Muslim world, in support of Palestine and against Israeli brutalities, has spread in the United States and the western world. Protesters and the Muslim world have been demanding instant cease-fire; protection of civilian’s lives and ensuring humanitarian supplies into Gaza. Israeli brutalities and human rights are being highlighted by the international media. Israeli officials in Hamas custody, during interrogation, have revealed many covert plans and conspiracies regarding so-called defense strategies of Israel depicting barbarianism on Gaza. Hence, Hamas knows the weakness and strength of Israeli forces.  Apart from Islamic countries, the states like Chile, Colombia, North Korea have also sever their diplomatic ties with Israel. Russia and China firmly stand on their stance against Israeli aggression and brutalities on the innocent Palestinians. Voices raised by the protesters and Human Rights organizations have caused immense embarrassment for leaders and decision-makers in the Western World.
