Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has urged the UN Security Council members to take decisive steps, without any further delay, to secure the implementation of its own resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.
In a letter handed over by Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nation Munir Akram to the President of Council in New York, he also urged to end India's egregious violations of the human rights of the Kashmiri people, in particular the right to self-determination.
In the letter, the Deputy Prime Minister has drawn the Security Council's attention to the grave human rights violations in IIOJK at the hands of the Indian occupation forces.
