Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti, strongly reacting to the martyrdom of two Kashmiris, has stated that these incidents are clear examples of custodial torture and extrajudicial killings.
She demanded an independent investigation into these incidents.
Mehbooba Mufti's daughter, Iltija Mufti, also condemned the extrajudicial killings of Kashmiris, questioning the value of the lives of those living under Indian occupation.
Meanwhile, Senior Leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has strongly condemned the recent arrests of over five hundred Kashmiris during raids by Indian forces across the IIOJK.
In a statement, he called for the immediate release of all detained Kashmiri youth.
On the other hand, All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat leaders, in their statements from Srinagar, have expressed deep gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their continued support of Kashmiris' struggle for the right to self-determination.
They particularly welcomed the bold statement made by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir regarding Kashmir during his address in Muzaffarabad.
