President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed grief over the sad demise of former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and ex-Naval Chief Admiral retired Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey.

In their separate statements, they prayed for the higher ranks of the departed soul in the hereafter and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.       

They also paid rich tribute to the late Iftikhar Sirohey for his services to the defense of country.
