A meeting of the Concept Clearance Committee was held in Islamabad today to discuss the financing plan being offered by the Asian Development Bank in the efforts to support the Covid-19 emergency relief services in Pakistan.

During the meeting ADB's support package under the title "Emergency Assistance for Fighting against Covid-19 Pandemic" worth 305 million dollars was presented and was subsequently approved. 

Under the financing plan, ADB will provide 200 million dollars for social protection for the poor and vulnerable and 105 million dollars for public health emergency preparedness.
