In India, main opposition party Congress' leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has said that recent terror attack on an Indian Air Force convoy in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district was a pre-election stunt by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In a statement, he said these are all stunts and not terrorist attacks and there is no truth in it.

He said BJP is playing with people's lives and bodies.
