In India, anti-Muslim hatred of Hindu extremist party-BJP has intensified as electioneering for Lok Sabha elections gains momentum in the country.

BJP shared videos on social media platforms Instagram and X showing main opposition party Congress as giving benefits to India's minority Muslim community.

The videos have sparked widespread criticism from across the country.

Congress party has lodged complaint with the Election Commission, saying these videos are meant to provocate rioting and enmity between different communities.                                                                    

Anti-Muslim mantra has long been an electioneering tool of BJP to garner support of hardliner Hindu electorate.
