Israel has ordered one point four million Palestinians to evacuate Rafah as it begins its ground assault in the city despite international warnings.                    

Terming Israel's Rafah offensive devastating, the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees said it will continue to provide lifesaving aid to people in Rafah as long as possible. 

Meanwhile, Israeli planes hit several houses in Rafah today martyring 20 people and wounding many others.

More than 34,700 Palestinians have been martyred so far in Israel's ongoing aggression in Gaza since October 7 last year.
