
A Kashmir Caravan car rally was held from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad under the auspices of the World Kashmir Forum in connection with the Defence and Martyrs' Day.
People from different walks of life participated in the rally, which aimed to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, highlight the Kashmir issue and convey a message of peace and unity.
The participants started their journey from the Fatah Memorial in Islamabad, waving the national flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
They also visited the Martyrs' Memorial and organized special programs to pay tribute to the martyrs of Defence and Martyrs' Day and those who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, World Kashmir Forum Secretary Finance Rafiq Suleman said the rally reaffirmed the resolve for Kashmir's freedom and solidarity with Pakistan.
A participant of the rally thanked Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for keeping the nation's head held high while another participant said the rally was held to pay tribute to the martyrs of September 6 and the sons of Kashmir who sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom.
