Pakistan qualify for semi-final of ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup

Pakistan have qualified for the semi-final of the ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup, beating Bangladesh by five wickets at Adelaide on Sunday.

Batting first, Bangladesh set a victory target of 128 for the loss of eight wickets in allotted twenty overs.

In reply, Pakistan achieved the target in 18.1 overs.

Shaheen Afridi was declared player of the match.

India, New-Zealand and England have already qualified for the semi-finals.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has congratulated Pakistan's cricket team for making it to the semifinal of the ICC Men's T-20 Cricket World Cup.

In a tweet today, he appreciated left arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afrdi for his excellent performance in the match against Bangladesh.

Earlier, Pakistan won its match against Bangladesh.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also congratulated Pakistan's cricket team for winning the match against Bangladesh.

He said this in a tweet on Sunday.
