Islamabad United has won their first and opening match of Pakistan Super League against Lahore Qalandars by eight wickets in Rawalpindi on Friday.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 139 runs in 19.2 overs with all out.
Islamabad United achieved the victory target for the loss of 2 wickets.
In the second match of the event, Peshawar Zalmi will face Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi today.
The match will start on 3.30 in the afternoon.
The third match of the event will be played between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans in Karachi today.
