Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhter says federal government is committed with its constitutional obligations and would assist Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in resolving financial issues.

She was talking to the KPK Caretaker Chief Minister Syed Arshad Hussain Shah in Islamabad today.

In a meeting, matters of mutual interest came under discussion.

Meanwhile, chairing a kick off meeting of IMF Technical Assistance Mission on digitizing budget process in Islamabad, Caretaker Finance Minister underscored the need to tailor the recommendations to the specific needs of the Ministry to improve effectiveness of budget making process through digitization.

The IMF Technical Assistance Mission was led by Senior Economists from the Public Financial Management Division Fazeer Rahim and Sybi Hida.

The Technical Assistance Mission assured to propose implementable solutions to the Ministry.
