January 07, 2025

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned New Delhi’s oppressive policies in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement, paid tributes to the martyrs of Sopore, Gawakdal, Handwara, and Kupwara.

He reaffirmed that the sacrifices of these martyrs would not go in vain.

The APHC called on the international community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute as per United Nations resolutions.

Meanwhile, Indian occupation forces committed a blatant act of desecration of the Holy Quran during a raid at Central Jail Srinagar.

Eyewitnesses reported that Indian forces deliberately threw copies of the Quran across the barracks in an apparent provocation and assault on Kashmiri religious sentiments.

Religious leaders and rights groups have condemned the incident, describing it as part of India’s systematic targeting of Kashmiri identity and faith.

People took to the streets in Sopore to protest the apathy of the occupation authorities towards their daily needs, including the prolonged suspension of the water supply.

An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside a camp in Katra area of Reasi district.
