Pakistan has said culture is a key enabler of sustainable development through integrating social, economic, and environmental dimensions to build more inclusive, resilient, and creative societies.

This was stated by Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to UN Usman Jadoon, while speaking during an introductory meeting of the Group of Friends on "Culture: Culture as enabler of Sustainable Development" at the United Nations, New York.

He said Pakistan has long been a crossroads of cultural exchange, innovation, and artistic excellence. From the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro to the vibrant traditions of our diverse provinces, culture is deeply embedded in our national identity.
