A ceremony was held in Islamabad on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
The event was attended by Federal Minister for Finance Mohammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shafqat Ali Khan, as well as foreign ambassadors, political and religious leaders, and people from various walks of life.
Participants congratulated Iranian people and government on the completion of 46 years of success for Islamic Revolution. The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mohammad Reza Amiri Moghaddam, in his welcome speech, stated that today is an important day for Iranians and Muslims around the world because Iran, through the revolution, revived Islam within the country.
Meanwhile, in connection with 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Hafiz Sherazi Corner inaugurated in Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. This corner contains books on Iranian studies, cultural and calligraphic artworks, poetry books of various authors, etc. Various academic and cultural personalities participated in the event.
